| The highest peak of Durmitor massive is Bobotov kuk (or among the people Cirova cave or Heaven's Soa) with 2.523 m height over the sea level. This massive has a sub-mountain climate up to 1.200 meters height, and over it there is the Alps climate, with average annual air temperature between and 2 and 8 C. Regarding the climate as well, the massive has a very characteristic appearance of temperature inversion, meaning that when the cool air and fog fall down in lower areas and river valleys, the sunny weather and warm air move to higher mountain areas.
