Road traffic
Two major roads in Montenegro are the Adriatic Highway from Herceg Novi to Ulcinj, and the highway Petrovac-Podgorica-Kolasin-Bijelo Polje- Serbian border (linking the North and the South of the Republic). In the summer months, the traffic is busy on the road Herceg Novi-Trebinje, which links Montenegro to Bosnia-Herzegovina. One of the major roads, which link the southern part with both capital cities, is the road Budva-Cetinje-Podgorica.
Air traffic
There are two international airports in Montenegro, in Podgorica and in Tivat.
Airport of Golubovci - Podgorica is situated 12 km from the centre of Podgorica, 62km from Budva, 65km from Bar, 80km from Kolasin and 170km from Zabljak.

The Montenegro airline company "Montenegro Airlines", maintains the regular lines for Belgrade, Budapest, Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt and Rome. Regular lines to Montenegro are maintained by Jat (Belgrade), Adria ( Ljubljana, Amsterdam, Vienna, Bruxelles, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Munich and Paris ), Be Ring (Moscow)
Maritime traffic
Ship lines:
Passenger and cargo ferryboats regularly travel on lines Bar-Bari-Bar, Bar-Ancona-Bar. Carriage of passengers is made by ferry on national line Lepetani -Kamenari (during the summer season, the ferry operates non stop).
