FISHING – It is known that the Adriatic Sea is very rich in various and quality fish species, then shells, crawfish … These are the excellent predispositions for development of the fishing tourism of all types. The most popular method of fishing now is the so-called “submarine breath fishing” or with help of a device with oxygen with flappers on the legs and submarine rifle. This type of activity attracts numerous fishers, first of all because this is a particular experience, i.e. the feeling of belonging to another, i.e. submarine world, encircled by plants and animals.
The Adriatic Sea offers over 100 fish species, from which around twenty species may be tasted in the restaurants on the Montenegrin Riviera. Save for the Adriatic Sea, the paradise for fishermen is certainly the Lake of Skadar. On the area of 540 km2 there are 39 fish species from 15 families. You can catch here trout, carp, eel, bleak etc. In Montenegro there is the Association of the Sport Fishing Organisations. If you wish the permit for sport fishing, you can obtain it in all municipalities on the territory of the Republic, and the price of daily permit totals to 15 Euros.
HUNTING
Sport hunting became very interesting for local and foreign tourists. Montenegro is the real paradise for people fond of nature and this type of activity. The nature is exceptionally attractive, and there are sufficient wild games in the hunting areas. The following are hunted from the wild games: wolves, foxes, roe deer, wild boars, rabbits, pheasants… As possible hunting areas are increasingly singled out Prokletije, Durmitor, Ljubisnja, Bjelasica. Any hunting is prohibited in the National park “Biogradska gora”.

AQUATIC SPORTS
There are a great number of possibilities to practice exactly these types of tourist recreation. However, these sports are quite expensive, and maybe are not sufficiently developed. We require important funds in order to make the aquatic sport an integral part of the seasonal tourism. For the time being we can meet: skiing, rowing, kayak, diving and sailing, windsurfing, and very popular drive by scooters, pedalines…

DIVING
Diving becomes increasingly important extreme activity, interesting both locals and tourists. It is very interesting to go to great depths and watch that mysterious submarine world. As evidence of all interesting things from the blue depths of Adriatic there is the submarine photography. The Diving Association of Montenegro started with operation in 1992. There is growing number of clubs holding the diving schools: the Diving Club “Neptune-Mimosa” at Tivat, the Diving Club “Sebastian” at Herceg Novi, Swimming pool “Pizana” at Budva. By its importance, the diving camp “Rose” is distinguished, which has camping equipment for 30 divers and restaurant. Favourable hydrology features of the Adriatic Sea influence the development of fishing and submarine recreation. We refer here, above all, to the temperature of the seawater, and it is known that the coastal sea of Montenegro belongs to the warmest part of the Adriatic Sea. Then, the colour of seawater is entirely blue, which is more intensive with increased depth and salinity. The transparency is different depending on the season of the year. For instance, while during the summer on the Southern Adriatic is totals to 33,1 m, in the Spring 31,3 m, during the winter it totals to 30,5 m and the Autumn 23,8 m.

NAUTICAL
The shore of the Montenegrin Riviera is suitable for development of the nautical tourism, but still does not have an important tourist fleet. According to the opinions of experts, it is possible to build here: a “marina” at Budva, “ship-marina” at Tivat and Bijela, “small ports” at Herceg Novi, Kotor, Bar and Ulcinj. The major port on the Riviera is situated in Bar. From there ferryboats depart to Italy (Bari, Ancona, Barletta) and Croatia (Dubrovnik). This is certainly the most secured marina, which has 990 bindings. The Shipyard in Bijela is certainly very important for reason of accepting the passing vessels, repairs and maintenance of ships… Also, in all small tourist places there is the local offer of boats and small boats for excursions. Boka Kotorska is famous for its exceptional natural rarities, which certainly attract numerous owners of yachts. When the yachting tourists would visit it once, and get to know this rich fishing area and other attractions offered by the Bay, we are sure that they would all come more frequent and would stay here longer.

RAFTING ON THE TARA
The River of Tara is the deepest and the most beautiful river in Montenegro with the deepest canyon in Europe, and the second in the world. Thanks to its beauty, the canyon is placed under the UNESCO protection, as the part of the world's heritage. Since the river is in its canyon part twisting and violent, it became very suitable and attractive for rafting. The most favourable conditions for this sport exist during July and August, when the rafting is organised through the canyon with wooden rafts and rubber boats (rafting). The rafts depart from the place of Splaviste, and the rafting lasts from one to four days, depending on the selected length of the navigable way. The main camp is in the motel “Port of Radovan”. Depending on the selected program, you can be present at the lunch in the nature, enjoying the specialties of this region: cheese, cream, bread beneath sace…

SKIING
You need natural conditions for development of winter sports, above all skiing. They include: the thickness of snow cover, climate enabling maintaining the snow in sufficient long period, situation of the region as well as the quality of soil. We can distinguish two beauties in Montenegro – two proud pearls suitable for development of winter tourism with possibilities for alpine and Nordic skiing – Durmitor and Bjelasica. Durmitor has 10.820 m of skiing paths. They are exposed towards the settlement of Zabljak, with average distance from the descending points from 1,5 km. The quality of snow is not steady, but the best for the paths is the snow susac (drier). This is dry and loose snow, weighing from 30-100 kg/m2. Here we can distinguish several zones: zone “Kuk”, capacity 4.280 skiers, zone “Stulac”, capacity 4.280 skiers, the skiing fields around Zabljak, capacity 740 users. They are suitable for sports practised by persons in various ages, because of the vicinity of accommodation. The major part of paths intended for mass skiing is subject to the requirements of practising the Alpines disciplines (downhill race, slalom, giant slalom ). F or requirements of Nordic disciplines (running on the skis), the langlauf paths in length 3-12 km are arranged. The major path is Savin kuk, which starts on 1.527 m above the sea level, and ends on 2.183 m above the sea level. Two cable railways are built on this path, which are interconnected. Unlike Durmitor, the winter sport and recreational tourism on Bjelasica have been sought to be affirmed only during the last years, in order to use advantages of favourable touristic and geographic position of the mountain. The thickness of the snow cover ranges from 1-3 m. The total length of paths amounts to 15 km. You can practice night skiing here, since the path is equipped with reflectors.
